Other Cafes

Café Philosophy in Victoria has gone on for over a decade, but we are not the only pubic participatory philosophy. Marc Sautet sparked a movement in France in the 1990s, and now Philosophy Cafés exist all over the world.

Most notable in Canada is Simon Fraser University’s Philosophers’ Café program. This novel extension of community education is headed up by Yosef Wosk. Learn more about their programs here: http://www.sfu.ca/philosopherscafe.
